"a monument to memories that are mine and mine alone"

from $25.00

Three color screen print on four different colors of metallic & matte 12x12” card stock.

This piece was part of processing the loss of an intimate childhood friend, inspired by a realization that the world of memories we created only exists for me now.

I drew the core blob at the center with my eyes closed, in between tears. When I sit with it now, it feels like an accurate representation of the private, painful pedestals we make to the people we lose, and the often precarious ways we grow around that calcified loss.

Framed prints are cut down to 10×10” and hinge mounted with acid-free tape on acid-free foam core, atop light purple card stock in a black glass frame that will be shipped with ample packaging to arrive safely.
