Y’all remember MS Paint? Where you could ignore your third grade teacher and draw zig-zag lines through shapes and color in all the sections in between with the paint bucket? That was the best.
In the spirit of those moments, and continuing on the general Gestalt theme of my screen printing work, I made this print on four different colors of 8.5×8.5” card stock, some with metallic and matte finishes. This piece is an experiment in breaking up the forms I typically use in a different way. Facilitated by the variable nature of the printing process, there are some fun interactions between the resulting shapes.
Framed prints are hinge mounted with acid-free tape on acid-free foam core, atop metallic navy card stock in a matching multicolored glass 12×12” frame that will be shipped with ample packaging to arrive safely.
