Multi-color screen print on seven different colors of 12x12” paper. This experimental print was intended to be an exploration of color interactions.
I used only two screens, first printing an all-white layer before taping off various elements of the piece, and then inverting which elements were taped off in different combinations. Two screens were necessary to keep the weaving lines clean.
Some of the colors came out a bit muddier than intended. But by keeping the amount of ink on the screen low and mixing in transparent ink, I was able to get some neat marbled patterns and color combinations! Swipe and see for yourself.
This piece is has been on display at Generator and currently still is on display at Haymaker Bun Company, both in Burlington, Vermont.
Framed prints are in a black glass frame that will be shipped with ample packaging to arrive safely.
